Baby Sequoia in Yosemite National Park

Today is the darkest day of the year but tomorrow is the beginning of brighter longer days.    I hope you have a wonderful holiday season whatever tradition you celebrate or not.

I captured these elegant sequoia’s at the Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park.  The majestic sequoia trees have been around longer than any person living on the earth.  Walking around I felt humbled by their enormity and beauty and wished they could speak about our history.   Technically I did nothing special to capture this image, the park is really that beautiful.
